CALL TO ORDER
Vice Chairperson Ryan Collins called the February 12, 2025, Parking Committee meeting to order at 9:00 AM. Chairperson Gus Gutierrez came in at 9:01 AM and took over as Chair.

Approval of the Minutes from the November 13, 2024 Meeting.
Motion was made by Dan Cushman, seconded by Daniel Noelke to approve the Minutes from the November 13, 2024 meeting.

NEW BUSINESS
a.
JC Penny Parking Lot Update
Selena Griffett, Project Engineer, let the committee know the parking lot will be closed for a few days for the milling and overlay and the dumpster enclosures will not require the parking lot to be closed. Starting on the 17th, the parking lot will be closed for 2 weeks and this can not be postponed. The committee asked if the city could get the tram operational while the parking lot is closed.
b.
Fort Pierce Resorts lease
Special Projects Coordinator Marsha Commond updated the committee on the Fort Pierce Resorts lease. They are requesting an increase of over $2,000 a month and the lease to be for more than 12 months. The city pays the base rent, taxes, and property management fees. The committee would like to review the properties the city currently leases for parking.
c.
Downtown Parking Garage update
Ms. Griffett let the committee know she has reached out to the company who is working on this project and has not heard back from them. The committee asked if the contract has been fully paid for. Ms. Griffett will get this information back to the committee at the next meeting.
