MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE ARTS AND CULTURE ADVISORY BOARD OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA, HELD IN THE 2ND FLOOR CONFERENCE ROOM, CITY HALL, 100 NORTH U.S. #1, FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA, AT 9:00 A.M. ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2025.

CALL TO ORDER
Special Projects Coordinator, Audria Moore, called the September 23, 2025, Arts & Culture Advisory Board meeting to order at 9:03 AM.
Ms. Moore let the Committee know Ms. Julie Pouliotte has resigned from the board.

The Board did not approve the minutes at this time. They will be reviewed and approved at the next meeting.

NEW BUSINESS
a.
Elect Chairperson and Vice Chairperson
The Committee chose Lisa Kessler as the Chairperson and Doretha Hair Truesdell as the Vice Chairperson.
b.
Request for Highwaymen Mary Ann Carroll Gravesite Mosaic
The Board discussed and approved the request.
Motion by Vice Chairperson Doretha Hair Truesdell, seconded by Ipyana Abayomi to approve the request for the Highwaymen Mary Ann Carroll Gravesite Mosaic.

Mosaic Bench Restoration
The Board discussed and once they receive an invoice for the bench restoration, they will discuss the options.

Board Orientation
The Board reviewed the Sunshine and Public Record Laws. They also reviewed the Art in Public Places fund. They were tasked with coming up with future projects for this fund.

BOARD AND STAFF DISCUSSION
The Board discussed moving the meeting time to 10 A.M.
Motion by Emily Fingerhut, seconded by Vice Chairperson Doretha Hair Truesdell to move the start time of the meeting to 10 A.M.
