Motion by Ipyana Abayomi, seconded by Vice-Chair Doretha Hair Truesdell to approve the minutes of the March 25, 2025 Meeting.

Highwaymen Museum Mosaic Benches
The proposal from Anita Prentice for the Highwaymen Museum Mosaic Benches was reviewed.
Motion by Lisa Kessler, seconded by Ipyana Abayomi recommending the funding of the benches from the Arts in Public Places Funding.

Both Dr. Jeanetta and Emily Fingerhut are indicated that they are still interested in serving on the board. A motion was made that both be made as board appointees. This is to be approved by the Commission.
b.
Highwaymen Museum Mural Artist Recommendation
A total of 83 proposals were received for the Highwaymen Mural and 44 were shortlisted based on the budget. During the review of the shortlisted applications, a further 20 were shortlisted. Due to time constraints, a special meeting was called for April 29th to continue the review and selection process.
