CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Lisa Kessler called the February 24, 2026, Arts & Culture Advisory Board meeting to order at 10:07 A.M.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
a.
Approval of the minutes from the January 20, 2026 Arts and Culture Board Meeting.
Motion by Ipyana Abayomi, seconded by Victoria Bush to approve the minutes from the January 20, 2026, Arts and Culture Advisory Board meeting.

NEW BUSINESS
a.
Treasures of St. Lucie Cultural Week, February 2027 - Cultural Alliance of St. Lucie County
The board postponed this item until the next meeting.
b.
Call for Artist for new City Hall Sculpture
Special Projects Coordinator, Audria Moore, let the board know they would need to provide an idea of what the sculpture will look like or represent. She will put together a presentation for the next meeting.
c.
Statues and Mural Restoration Project
Ms. Moore discussed with the board the sculpture they wanted more information about previously. It is named Away and it is a horse and it is in desperate need of repair.

OLD BUSINESS
a.
Arts and Culture Master Plan Discussion
The board tabled this discussion until the next meeting as there was not a full board present. They did discuss that a project they would like to include is mural restorations. The current Arts and Culture Master Plan is from 10 to 15 years ago and does not align with where we are now.
