CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Lisa Kessler called the March 24, 2026, Arts & Culture Advisory Board meeting to order at 10:19 A.M.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Approval of the Minutes from the February 24, 2026 Arts and Culture Advisory Board meeting.
Motion by Emily Fingerhut, seconded by Ipyana Abayomi to approve the minutes from the February 24, 2026 Arts and Culture Advisory Board meeting.

OLD BUSINESS

Welcome new Board Member - Jessica Kadie-Barclay
The board welcomed Jessica.
b.
Arts and Culture Master Plan Discussion
Special Projects Coordinator, Audria Moore opened the discussion on the update to the Master Plan. They discussed reviewing other communities Art in Public Places Funds and their Arts and Culture organizations. The board would like to be a part of more of the art related discussions within the city and to help keep the vision on track. The master plan they create would need to comply with the ordinance. They would like to hold a Master Plan workshop. The board decided to hold a two day workshop for the master plan on 4/7 and 4/9 from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M.

Highwaymen Mural Update
Ms. Moore let the board know the mural has been completed.
d.
Mary Ann Carroll Grave Cap Update
Ms. Moore let the board know the grave cap has been completed.
e.
Treasures of St. Lucie Cultural Week, February 2027 Update
Ms. Moore let the board know the event is on hold and they have encouraged the board members to reach out to the St. Lucie Cultural alliance.
f.
Interlocal Agreement with County for Conservator Services
Ms. Moore shared that the agreement has been executed. The restoration company will begin working on art pieces that are on city property.

NEW BUSINESS
a.
Call for Artist for new City Hall Statue
This item has been tabled until the next meeting.
