Parking Enforcement Update - Code Compliance Manager
Ms. Arraiz also gave a brief overview of the T2 mobile parking app that she is proposing for the Code Enforcement Division to utilize. The company will be presenting to the Parking Committee many options that are available.
The general consensus from the Commission is to move forward with the proposed resolutions that the Code Division is introducing.

Ms. Arraiz also gave a brief overview of the T2 mobile parking app that she is proposing for the Code Enforcement Division to utilize. The company will be presenting to the Parking Committee many options that are available.

Short Term / Vacation Rentals Enforcement Update - Code Compliance Manager
- Current enforcement activity in R1 & R2 zones
- Moving forward with enforcement in R4A zone
- Discussion on contracting with 3rd party for monitoring and enforcing

Animal Control Enforcement Update - Code Compliance Manager
Mr. Mimms reminded the City Commission that at a recent meeting, the City Commission asked for an update on Code Enforcement issues which is the reason for discussion of vacation rentals, animal control and parking enforcement.
Ms. Arraiz explained that a sign ordinance will be coming before them in the next few months with amendments.
Mr. Messer gave an update on two outstanding cases related to vacation rentals in regards to conditional use. He explained that both cases have been filed with the court and currently are awaiting the judge to schedule argument on them.

Review of proposed amendments to Chapter 4 - Animals - Code Compliance Manager
Ms. Peggy Arraiz explained that a recent workshop, it was the consensus of the City Commission to amend the Ordinance to prohibit tethering unattended. A draft has been created amending Chapter 4 based on information compiled from Martin County and St. Lucie County.
Ms. Arraiz was asked how they would educate the citizens on changes to the Ordinance. One suggestion was to put flyers in the FPUA mailings. Another suggestion was to partner with St. Lucie County to put educational information about tethering on the County's television station.
Ms. Arraiz explained that after a warning, continuous non compliance will lead to citations being issued. The first draft of the Ordinance that will allow Code Enforcement to enter private property if an animal is in distress is being completed and will be submitted to legal for review of legalities.
