MINUTES OF A SPECIAL SHADE MEETING OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA, HELD IN THE 3RD FLOOR CONFERENCE ROOM, 100 NORTH U.S. #1, FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA, AT 3:00 P.M. ON MONDAY, MARCH 2, 2026.

CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Hudson called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.

Special Closed Meeting (Attorney-Client Session) pursuant to F.S. 286.011(8) at the request of the City Attorney to discuss settlement negotiations or strategy session related to litigation expenditures in connection with 2024CA001627 - PIERCE 1 MARINA, LLC vs. CITY OF FORT PIERCE and FORT PIERCE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY.

Announcement of estimated length of attorney-client session.
Linda Cox, City Clerk, announced that the session is estimated to last approximately one (1) hour.

City Clerk to announce the names of those in attendance. The session shall be recorded by a certified court reporter. (Note: The court reporter will prepare the transcript of the meeting and file it with the City Clerk within a reasonable time; it shall remain sealed until the conclusion of the litigation, at which time the transcript will be made part of the public record.)
Linda Cox, City Clerk, announced those in attendance as follows: Mayor Linda Hudson, Commissioner Michael Broderick, Commissioner Chris Dzadovsky, Commissioner Arnold Gaines, Commissioner Curtis Johnson, City Manager Richard Chess, City Attorney Sara Hedges, and Attorney John Stewart, outside counsel for the City, along with the Court Reporter. Ms. Cox then left the meeting.

Meeting reopens at conclusion of attorney-client session.
The meeting was reoped at 4:04 and Ms. Cox rejoined the meeting.

ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Hudson adjourned the meeting at 4:04 p.m.
