New Business
Charlene Adair gave the Board the South Beach Association update on all the wonderful work that has taken place this past year. The board thanked them for all of their hard work.
Special Guest, Sword Outreach Mentoring Program, talked to the Board about their past project at Moore’s Creek Linear Park. They did a great job; the Board thanked them for all their hard work. Elder Terrance Beauford talked about adopting the linear park. Nick suggested that Jack Andrews could assist with money for signage.
The Board has officially named our new project Sunrise Trail. We will shortly begin working on some lighting and landscaping. This project will continue as funding is available. Nick suggested that Paul attend a meeting on the Orange Avenue section. This could be the start of our project.
The Board would like to start our meetings at 1 p.m. instead of 2 p.m.
