Mr. Watson was unable to appear due to recent surgery so his attorney was present, Mr. Scott Sheffler, along with two ProMag Energy Group staff members: Mr. Harris and Mr. Skinner. The Complainant, Ms. Ferry, was not present. Mr. Sheffield indicated that the job began in July of 2016, and that the permit that was pulled in August of 2016 was mistakenly cancelled by one of ProMag Energy's office staff and it was found months later during an audit of their company. There was discussion regarding problems with the wiring and the repeated return trips to the customer's home. The job was completed almost a year later.
Motion was made by Kenneth Waters, seconded by Ralph Fogg to find Mr. Watson guilty of two offenses under the Fort Pierce Code of Ordinance, Section 5-52: (3) Committing incompetency or misconduct in the practice of contracting and (13) Proceeding on any job without obtaining the applicable building department permits and inspections. The Board indicated that a letter of reprimand would be placed in Mr. Watson's file at the City, but not sent to the State.

This item was tabled to the December meeting as the Board will be undergoing Sunshine Law training at the end of the November 14th meeting. Currently, Mr. Abdelquader's business is without water service and cannot open. As a possible remedy to the delay of his business opening, the Board suggested that Mr. Abdelquader hire another plumbing company to correct the issues until this item can be heard on December 12th.
Motion was made by Kenneth Waters, seconded by Ralph Fogg to table the item until the December 12, 2017 meeting. A voice vote was taken.
