Approve the agreement.

After the cancellation of a previous contract due to lack of performance with a vendor hired to monitor short-term rentals, the City issued a new Request for Proposals (RFP) on June 11, 2025. The City received four qualified responses to the RFP, which were evaluated by staff from Finance, Business Licenses, and Planning based on four published evaluation criteria: responsiveness to the scope of the RFP; quality and completeness of the submittal; qualifications of the firm; and cost and schedule. An informal scoring process that involved a robust discussion among the raters concerning how each respondent ranked based on the selection criteria and how their approach fit the City's and staff's needs. From this discussion, a unanimous consensus was reached that Deckard Technologies was the best fit to perform this service for the City.

$19,975.00 in the first year of a three-year term. The total is not to exceed $62,971.29, which reflects a 5% annual increase.
