Approval of City Council meeting minutes for the regular meeting of July 14, 2026. Motion to approve the minutes.
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Staff recommends that Council approve the regular City Council Meeting Minutes of July 14, 2026.
DISCUSSION:
The purpose of the minutes is to historically preserve the events of the City Council meetings. The minutes typically describe the even of the meeting and may include a list of attendees, a statement of the issues considered by the participants and related responses or decisions related to the issues. It is not a requirement that the minutes be a transcript, but instead a historical preservation/ record of the actions, guidance, and directives provided in conducting the wishes and the City of Hawthorne by the said policy-making body.
