Agreement With Telehealth Van, LLC., To Provide Virtual Telehealth Resources And Family Support For Low Income and Unhoused Residents.
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Staff Recommends that the City Council Approve the Agreement with Telehealth Van, LLC.
DISCUSSION:
The subject agreement with Telehealth Van, LLC., (Telehealth) would offer the city residents with virtual medical and mental health resources. Telehealth had been operating in the city to assist those who were unhoused or low income during the pandemic, which was federally funded. The Council directed the staff to continue the program with a funding cap of $100,000 for the year with the revenues generated from the city's cannabis program. The agreement provides for two telehealth vans, two days per week at the price of $768 per each van with a cap of $100,000.
