Consideration and possible approval of the following updated Urban County Program (UCP) policies, as reviewed and approved by the County Legal Department.

• UCP Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDO) Policy
• Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program (OORP) Policy

The Urban County Program has completed updates to its HOME Investment Partnerships Program, which include the CHDO and the OORP Policies to ensure continued compliance with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development regulations, current program requirements, and administrative best practices.
These policy updates provide clarification to existing procedures, incorporate current regulatory guidance, and improve program administration and oversight.
The revised policies have been reviewed and approved by the County Legal Department. Approval by Commissioners Court is requested in order to formally adopt the updated policies for implementation under the Urban County Program.
