Contract Term: October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2032 – Approved March 18, 2025, #AI-98665 Budget Term (1st Fiscal Year): October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026.  Budget Term (2nd Fiscal Year): October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

The County matches 100% of all costs related to Title IV-E County Child Welfare Services. However, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services reimburses the county for part of the expenses when the county handles Title IV-E cases. Actual reimbursement is based on the Eligible Population Rate (EPR) in effect for the county during the month in which expenses are incurred. The reimbursement is then receipted in a General Fund Revenue account.
