The Urban County Program on behalf of Precinct No. 1 requests authorization to assign recreational equipment and supplies from the Delta Youth Center to Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1.
BACKGROUND
On September 23, 2008, Commissioners' Court approved to cancel the Subrecipient Agreement with the Delta Youth Center due to the closing of its three locations in the Delta area. Authorization is being requested to assign recreational equipment and supplies, previously assigned to the Delta Youth Center, to Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1. This will ensure the security of the equipment currently located in vacant facilities that were being utilized by the Delta Youth Center. Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 will secure the equipment until a determination is made as to who will utilize the equipment.
