The Urban County Program is requesting approval of a best and final negotiated professional engineering service contract with S&B Infrastructure, Ltd. in the amount of $23,125.74 utilizing Year 21 (2008) funds for a Water/Sewer Improvements Project (Installation of Sewer line) in the City of Weslaco.
BACKGROUND
The City of Weslaco requested authorization to negotiate a professional engineering service contract with S&B Infrastructure, Ltd. for Water/Sewer Improvements. A best and final offer was submitted by S&B Infrastructure Ltd. in the amount of $23,125.74. The improvements will allow for the installation of a sewer line in the alley between Las Palmas & Cedro from Torritos to Hidalgo Street within the city of Weslaco. See attached contract & scope of services.
