As per Carrie Lambrecht, Hidalgo County's PIO, this request will not have a budgetary impact on the County inasmuch as the County has received at least four private donations and those donations will go directly to Time Warner to pay the $2,500.00 cost. This is why no requisition is being submitted. In addition, I asked if more than one quote was secured. Her response was no because there is only one cable company. I informed her that there are also other televison broadcasters from which quotes can be requested.
