Requesting approval of a Budget and Program Amendment for the City of La Villa to the existing work plan for Urban County Program Year 22 (2009).

The proposed Budget and Program Amendment for the City of La Villa will increase funding to the Parks, Recreational Facilities and Water/Sewer Activity.  A Public Hearing was held on September 21, 2009 at 6:00 pm., and citizen participation requirements have been met.

The proposed City of La Villa Year 22 (2009).   Amendment will:
* increase the Parks, Rec. Facilities line item by $20,000.00 and add the following activities to the work plan: the purchase and installation of park lighting and fencing to include advertisement, engineering and testing if needed.
* increase the Water & Sewer Improvements line item by $80,000.00.
* delete the Street Improvements, Fire Station/Equipment, Rehab.–Single Unit Residential and General Administration line items/activities.
* allocate funding line item intended for The Spanish American Council of Christian Churches, Inc. to the Rio Grande Valley Food Bank.
