Approval of a Resolution in support of the Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Funding Program pursued by the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District.
BACKGROUND
Program's objectives are to enable and encourage children in grades K-8, including those with disabilities to walk and bicycle to school; to make them a safer and more appealing transportation alternative, encouraging a healthier and more active lifesytle from an early age.
