Requesting approval of a Budget and Program Amendment for the City of Alton to the existing work plan for Urban County Program Year 22 (2009).

The proposed Budget and Program Amendment for the City of Alton will delete the Flood Drain Improvements Activity and will add a Street Improvements Activity.  A Public Hearing was held on October 14, 2009 at 6:00 P.M., and citizen participation requirements have been met.  See attached detailed amendment.

The proposed City of Alton Year 22 (2009) Amendment will:
* delete the Flood Drain Improvements line item/activity.
* add the Street line item in the amount of $249,727.00.  The activity includes: paving overlay to Adams, Buchanan, Clinton, Sycamore, Eisenhower, Chicago, Bella Vista Streets and advertisement, engineering and testing if needed.
* allocate funding line item intended for the McAllen Boys and Girls Club to the Alton Youth Center.
