The Urban County Program is requesting approval of a construction contract with Central Fence Supply in the amount of $73,122.00 for a Parks, Recreational Facility Improvements Project (Installation of Fencing) at the Sunrise/Sunset Park within Precinct No. I. Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 FY 2007& 2008 Parks, Recreational Facility funds will be utilized.
BACKGROUND
Hidalgo County Purchasing department received and opened bids on November 4, 2009. Bids were reviewed by Precinct No. 1 staff and a request to consider approval of contract in the amount of $73,122.00. See attached bid tabulation and letter of recommendation submitted by Precinct No. 1 staff.
