BACKGROUND
Authorization to accept the FY2009 SCAAP grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), was approved by Commissioners' Court on 11/10/09 (Agenda Item No. 20B - 18379).
Awarded funds are to be used for correctional purposes only. The budget includes overtime (no fringe benefits), and purchase of vehicles and equipment.
