Presentation for discussion, consideration and approval to rescind action taken by Commissioners Court on 04/06/2010 on acceptance and approval of the qualifying participants submitting responses to the "Expansion Of Pool For Licensed Professional Counselor(s)-RFP No: 2010-023-02-10-SGS" with "Lilia Varela-Rios dba Growing Generations Of South Texas" due to not meeting insurance requirements as stated and requested in the Request For Proposals.
BACKGROUND
There were two (2) respondents that had submitted responses to said project, the other vendor has complied with all said insurance requirements. Lilia Varela-Rios, owner of "Growing Generations Of South Texas" informed me via telephone on 04/20/2010, that she would not be able to submit the insurances as required due to financial reasons. I did request for her to submit in writing said reason but we have not received such notice. Vendor was provided the notice of award letter giving the company the ten (10) working day notice to provide the insurance but she was not able to comply and is in agreement to rescind Court's action.
