A. Requesting exemption from competitive bidding requirements, under Section 262.024 (a)(4),'... a professional service' in connection with engineering services for the review, assessment and status of the Phase I Report for: "GIS-Architectural and System Design Requirements" Project for Hidalgo County;
B. Requesting authority to negotiate a professional engineering contract (subject to legal review) with the highest scored/ranked firm (evaluated from Hidalgo County's approved "Pool" of engineering firms) of ___________________________________.
BACKGROUND
Through a Commissioners Court directive on Tuesday, January 22, 2007, three engineering firms will be scored, graded and evaluated by the Court for this project. The three (3) firms selected from the County's approved "Pool" were: S & B Infrastructure Group, TEDSI & Quintanilla, Headley & Associates. Packets containing the Statements of Qualifications with scoring sheets will be forwarded to all members of the Court.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:
Most likely to be paid from General Fund-County Wide Administration.
