BACKGROUND
Authorization to accept the FY2010 SCAAP grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), was approved by Commissioners' Court on 10/26/10 (AI-23547).
Awarded funds are to be used for correctional purposes only. The budget includes overtime pay (no fringe benefits), repair and maintenance supplies, and the purchase of vehicles, washer and dryer.
