Consideration and approval of a Program Amendment for Urban County Program Workplan for the City of Progreso Years 23 & 24 (2010 & 2011). The proposed program amendment will add streets into their existing work plan which includes the reconstruction of streets, curb & gutter, sidewalk improvements, advertisements, engineering fees, material testing fees and related appurtenances for project completion.

A Public Hearing was held on August 11, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at the City of Progreso City hall and the citizen participation requirements have been met. See attached detailed amendment. Thereafter, the City held a Special Meeting to approve the Program Amendment as recommended at the Public Hearing.

The proposed program amendment for Years 23 & 24 (2010 & 2011) will add the following streets to the work plans:
(a) Obregon Street,
(b) Pine Street,
(c) Oak Street,
(d) Martinez Street,
(e) Maritza Street,
(f) Arroyo Street,
(g) CPL JR. Becerra Street,
(h) S. SGT. SW Daily

Including streets in the same general vicinity to include but not limited to the reconstruction of streets paving, curb & gutter, sidewalk improvements, advertisements, engineering fees, material testing fees and related appurtenances for project completion.
