Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Palmview is requesting authority to purchase fire protection equipment through Hidalgo County’s membership and participation with Buy Board (Texas Association of School Boards) approved vendor Daco Fire Equipment (contract # 363-10) in the amount of $21,157.00 to include delivery and shipping fees. The City of Palmview UCP Year 23 (2010) Fire Station Equipment funds will be utilized.
BACKGROUND
The fire protection equipment to be purchased is 10 sets of bunker gear to include boots, hoods, gloves and helmets and will be purchased for use in the city limits of Palmview and surrounding areas. Payment in the amount of $21,157.00 will include warranties, customer assistance, and delivery. Delivery is expected within 30-60 days.
