Requesting authorization to amend the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP) contract with The Salvation Army and the Hidalgo County Urban County Program. The amendment will reduce the current contract amount of $99,913.67 by $23,812.98. The amended contract amount for The Salvation Army will be $76,100.69.
BACKGROUND
The HPRP Program requires that a total of 100% of the HPRP funds be spent by July 20, 2012. The Salvation Army expenditure ratio is at 76.2%. We are therefore, recommending the amendment to the HPRP contract and the recapture of funds so that we can re-allocate these funds to other agencies that will help the County meet its threshold.
