1. Authorization and approval to accept the 2010 Homeland Security Grant Program from the Texas Division of Emergency Management in the amount of $5,015.32.

3. Approval of the 2012 appropriation of funds for the 2010 Homeland Security Grant Program from the Texas Division of Emergency Management in the amount of $5,015.32.

This grant was awarded to Hidalgo County Emergency Management by Texas Division of Emergency Management on behalf of the Linn San Manuel Volunteer Fire Department based on the recommendations of the Lower Rio Grande Valley Development Council Homeland Security Advisory Committee.  Minutes attached in section Va, show that the funds will be providing the Linn San Manuel Volunteer Fire Department equipment selected from the approved category of Regional Response.  This is a reimbursable grant and will follow the procurement policies set forth by the county's Purchasing Department.
