1. Hold a Public Hearing to consider public comments for Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1’s proposed budget and program amendment for Fiscal Years 18, 20, 21, 23 & 24 (2005, 2007,2008, 2010 & 2011)original work plans utilizing recaptured and forfeited funds. BACKGROUND
A Public Hearing was held on March 20, 2012 at 9:30 A.M. and citizen participation requirements have been met. Hidalgo County Precinct No. 1 proposed budget and program amendment for Fiscal Years 18, 20, 21, 23 & 24 (2005, 2007, 2008, 2010 & 2011):
The proposed amendment will delete:
Weslaco Youth Services, Progreso Lakes CI Infrastructure, Progreso Lakes-Street Improvements, La Villa Youth Services, Donna-General Administration;
The proposed amendment will decrease:
the Precinct No. 1 Street Improvements, Park, Recreational Facility (La Villa), Weslaco-Public Facility Improvements (Library), Elsa Water/Sewer Improvements activities
The proposed amendment will create:
Fire Station/Equipment activities for Monte Alto, Mercedes and La Villa
Parks, Recreational Facilities activities for Precinct No. 1 and Progreso.
The proposed amendment will add:
the re-construction, construction of Mile 2 ¾ E. (aka Saenz Ave.), to include but not limited to paving testing fees, engineering fees and advertisements and any other related appurtenances as it pertains to the development of the project and its surrounding and abutting areas, an already existing project in Fiscal Year 19 (2006).
The proposed amendment will delete:
