Urban County Program is requesting approval of a program amendment for the City of La Joya Urban County Program Years 19, 21, 22, & 24 (2006, 2008, 2009, & 2011). The amendment will change the proposed library location at North corner of Leo Avenue and 5th Street to a new location at 201 Palmshores Blvd. in La Joya, Texas.

The proposed amendment for the City of La Joya will affect the existing work plans in Years 19, 21, 22, & 24 (2006, 2008, 2009, & 2011). A Public Hearing was held on February 6, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. and citizen participation requirements have been met. The proposed program amendment will not alter the project description to construct a public library (to include parking lot, professional services, testing services, supplies, equipment, and related appurtenances as they pertain to project completion) and will not affect the original budget amount.
