BACKGROUND
These families were approved to receive assistance under the CDBG Disaster Recovery Program by the County Commissioners’ Court on May 29 & June 26, 2012. Bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County Purchasing Department on Tuesday, August 7, 2012.
- 100% of the contracts/agreements utilized for this grant were provided by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs office (TDHCA).
- G & G Contractors were the sole bidders

These funds are not part of our normal annual funding that is why your office did not see the consistent funding information. The agenda item is for the LAST two (2) housing units. The current grant balance is $105,889.47 of which $97,980.00 is needed to the complete the last two (2) units.Attachments
