Requesting authority to transfer $50,000 from the FY 2012 HOME Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program – Program Income line item to the FY 2012 Home Buyer Assistance Program
BACKGROUND
The HOME Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Program generates program income on a monthly basis derived from mortgage payment collections on some HOME assisted units. Currently, the program income line item has a balance of $150,619.22. At this time, the Homebuyer Assistance Program has a balance of $41,000 and approximately ten (10) applications in process for approval. In order to ensure that there are enough funds to assist all eligible families, the UCP is requesting a transfer of $50,000 from the program income line item.
