The Urban County Program on behalf of the city of Palmview, is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Texas Cordia Construction , LLC for a 2011 Street Improvements project in the amount of $344,169.00, utilizing funds from the UCP Year 23, 24 & 25 (2010, 2011 & 2012 Street Improvements line item).

 The bid opening was held on October 9, 2013 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was Texas Cordia Construction, LLC. The project involves the rehabilitation of Bentsen Palm Drive Bridge in Palmview, Texas. Please see attached letter of recommendation by the project engineer, city’s recommendation letter and contractor’s general liability insurance. Project engineer firm is SAM Engineering and Surveying, Inc.
