Requesting approval of a budget and program amendment for the City of Elsa, Urban County Program FYs 17, 18, 25 & 27 (2004, 2005, 2012 & 2014). The amendment will decrease the Water/Sewer Improvements and Park, Recreational Facilities activities, delete existing streets from the approved workplans and create a new project scope which will add new streets to the revised workplans. The new streets to be reconstructed and added to the workplans are Oscar Gonzalez St., 6th St., Austin St., Hidalgo St., Ricky Crossland St., Magson St., and the surrounding and abutting streets in the same general vicinity of the project site.

A Public Hearing was held on December 22nd, 2014 at 6:00 p.m., and citizen participation requirements have been met. Please see attached detailed amendment. The proposed amendment for the City of Elsa will affect the existing work plans in Years 17, 18, 25 & 27 (2004, 2005, 2012 & 2014), Funding shall also include, but activities are not limited to engineering professional service fees, material testing fees, advertisements and related appurtenances streets were previously environmentally cleared in FY 24 (2011).

Decrease - Water/Sewer Improvement activity in the amount of $2,500.00
Increase - Street Improvements activity in the amount of $2,500.00

Year 18 (2005)
Decrease - Water/Sewer Improvement activity in the amount of $9,461.08
Create - Street Improvements activity in the amount of $9,461.08

Year 25 (2012)
Decrease - Parks, Recreational Facilities activity in the amount of $10,571.37
Increase - Street Improvements activity in the amount of $10,571.37

Year 27 (2014)
The proposed amendment will delete the current scope of work which consisted of: the reconstruction of streets (Fannin, Carlos Arispe, Joe Medina & Third St.) and add the new streets. There will be no budgetary changes.
