BUDGETARY IMPACT:
STATE FY 2016The County matches 100% of all costs related to Title IV-E County Child Welfare
Services. However, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services reimburses
the county for part of the expenses when the County handles Title IV-E cases. Actual
reimbursement is based on Eligible Population Rate (EPR) in effect for the county during
the month in which the expenses are incurred. The reimbursement is then receipted in a
General Fund revenue account number (5-1100-331-12-360-001-0-000).
