Subject to Compliance with HB 1295, when and if Applicable, the Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Alton, is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with 2GS, LLC dba Earthworks Enterprise in the amount of $260,255.65. UCP funds in Years 25, 26 & 27 (2012, 2013 & 2014) Street Improvement line item will be utilized along with City of Alton General Funds.

 The bid opening was held on June 29, 2016 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was 2GS, LLC dba Earthworks Enterprise. The project consists of the improvements to Colorado Street, Adams Street, Florida Street and Delaware Street to include but not limited to the re-construction, paving, engineering fees, material testing fees, advertisements, etc. Project will also include the surrounding and abutting streets of Buchanan Street, Carter Street and Arizona Avenue. Please see attached letter of recommendation by the project engineer and contractor’s general liability insurance. Project engineering firm is LeFevre Engineering & Management Consulting, LLC. Any additional expenditures will be incurred by the City of Alton.
