BACKGROUND
Unappropriation requested by the auditor's office due to a correction made to the IGT. Starr County was originally scheduled to transfer $220,343.94, making the Hidalgo County's IGT commitment $15,040,921.79. However, Starr County transferred $800,000, therefore, reducing the IGT commitment to $14,461,265.73, a difference of $579,656.06. Auditor's Office does not allow for the LPPF expenditure account to have excess funding appropriated, therefore, they have requested the surplus be returned to the fund balance.
