Subject to HB 1295 Compliance, requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with 2GS, LLC dba Earthworks Enterprise in the amount of $226,127.00. UCP Year 28 (2015) City of San Juan Street Improvement funds will be utilized.

The bid opening was held on October 19, 2016 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was 2GS, LLC dba Earthworks Enterprise. Project consists of the repaving of several streets (Iowa, 3rd and 4th) including but not limited to adjacent/abutting streets within the same general vicinity, related appurtenances, professional engineering services, geotechnical and material testing, etc. Locations: Iowa Street (from 1st Street to Railroad), 3rd Street (from Kansas to Wyoming), and 4th Street (from Kansas to Wyoming). Please see attached letter of recommendation by the project engineer and contractor’s general liability insurance. Project engineering firm is Perez Consulting Engineers.
