Presentation for discussion, consideration, acceptance and approval of the Motor Vehicle Full Service Deputy Contract Agreement between Hidalgo County and BridgePoint Insurance Agency & Permit Center, LLC.
BACKGROUND
The county assessor collector, with the approval of the commissioner’s court of the county, may deputize an individual or business entity to perform titling and registration services. The Full Service Deputy leases from County all receipt printing equipment (Point of Sale Workstation) and supplies, needed for issuance to the public by the Full Service Deputy vehicle registration renewals and title transfers. BridgePoint Insurance is currently leasing nine (9) workstations each at a lease rate of $1,500 every 12 months.
