HIDTA Task Force (1291):
1. Authorization and approval to accept the Cooperative Grant Agreement Award Number (FAIN) G17SS0002A between Hidalgo County and the Executive Office of the President Office of National Drug Control Policy in the supplemental amount of $292,796.00 for the grant period of 01/01/2017-12/31/2018. 
2. Approval of certification of revenues, as certified by the County Auditor for the HIDTA Task Force Grant.  
3. Approval of appropriation of funds for the Hidalgo County District Attorney's Office HIDTA Task Force in the amount of $292,796.00.

Grant Award is "Consistent with P.L. 114-254, the Continuing Appropriations Resolution , 2017, this modification document provides a total budget and spending ceiling as reflected in Block 10 of the Grant Award document, which represents funds at a rate of 42.7% of the fiscal year 2016 funding level.  Accordingly, the sum of all budgets cannot exceed the award amount reflected in Block 10 of the Grant Award document.  The Office of National Drug Control Policy acknowledges that the aforementioned funding level is below the stated budget requirements: however, additional funding cannot be made available until enacted through public law."
