Requesting approval of the Amended Hidalgo County Urban County Program Citizen Participation Plan.
BACKGROUND
In accordance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the County of Hidalgo Urban County Program (UCP) held a public hearing on July 10, 2017 at the Urban County Program Office and on July 11, 2017 at County Commissioners Court for solicitation of comments on the proposed changes to its Citizen Participation Plan. The Plan has been amended to better explain the Citizen Participation process and formalize the procedures related to the development of the Assessment of Fair Housing. No comments were received.
