The Urban County Program is requesting approval of a budget & program amendment for the City of La Joya. The proposed amendment is for the Fiscal Years 27, 28 & 29 (2014, 2015 & 2016) Work Plans.
BACKGROUND
A Public Hearing was held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. at the La Joya City Hall and citizen participation requirements have been met. The City of La Joya approved the budget and program amendment as proposed for funding Years 27, 28 & 29 (2014, 2015 & 2016). Surplus funding from the Street Improvement line item and the creation of a Parking Facilities line item will allow for the inclusion of Havana Subdivision for Street Improvements The created Parking Facilities line item will allow for the construction of a parking lot for Military Park. See attached copy of Public Hearing Notice, Sign In Sheet, City Excerpts of Meeting Minutes and Letter of request for approval from the City of La Joya.
