3. Authority to negotiate a professional engineering service contract with the No. 1 ranked firm of                                              for the provision of engineering services for an Urban County Program Year 30 (2017) Palmview Parks, Recreational Facility Improvements project.

Project consists of Phase II for the complete development of Showers Park, to include but not limited to the purchase and installation of park playground equipment, slides, swings and related recreational equipment.   Small basketball pavilion, lighting, and add a new splash pad area. Other expenditures will include professional engineering services, geotechnical and material testing fees, and all related appurtenances, etc.  Project is already environmentally cleared in FY 2014.   Location: 215 Showers Road, Palmview, TX 78572.
