BACKGROUND
Dealers desire to act as an agents of the Tax Assessor Collector in the issuance of motor vehicle registration stickers and license plates. The Bert Ogden companies agrees to comply with the requirements of the Web-Dealer system of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles and will furnish and maintain any necessary equipment. This item is subject to the Dealerships providing bonds in the amount of $100,000.00 for each dealership and final legal review.
Transportation Code Sec. 520.0071. DEPUTIES states a county assessor-collector, with the approval of the commissioners court of the county, may deputize an individual or business entity to perform titling and registration services in accordance with rules prescribed and adopted in the Texas Administrative Code Title 43 Part 10 Chapter 217 Subchapter H.
