Pursuant to Hidalgo County's Exiting Elected Official Policy, requesting approval to process REQ# 369321 into a Purchase Order to Pavement Markings Inc. in the amount of $5,452.00.
BACKGROUND
This requistion is for the purchase of various items (reflectors, thermoplastics, symbols, etc.) for work needed on the parking lot, speed bumps, and road running through Milo Ponce Park.
LGC Section 130.908 requires Commissioners' Court to approve any expenditure of an elected county or precinct office whom was not renominated or reelected that is over an amount set by the Commissioners' Court. The purpose of this policy is to establish expenditure limits that require Commissioners' Court approval.
