Constables Precinct 5 (1100):
Requesting approval for payment of 2018 membership dues to the Texas Association of Counties (JPCA) for the Hidalgo County Constables Pct 5 Office in the total of amount of $165.00 (Req#369149), with authority for the County Treasurer to issue check after auditing procedures are completed by the County Auditor.

Membership dues are for the following employees: Daniel Marichalar, Diomar Galvan, Jaime Cano and Cynthia Perez.  The purpose of the Justice of the Peace and Constable Associaton (JPCA) is to develop and establish professional standards of performance and integrity for both Judges of the Peace and Constables. They provide training to bring about professional growth and development; to present a forum for discussion of common problems and current court decisions' to gather and disseminate information regarding improved administrative and technical practices; to assist law enforcement agencies in the founding and continued development; and to foster law enforcement cooperation and the exchange of the information and experience among each other.
