"Subject to Compliance with HB 1295, when and if Applicable." The Urban County Program is requesting the award of bids and the approval of contracts with R G Enterprises, LLC, dba G & G Contractors for the demolition and reconstruction of the following:
 
(2) Units in the Countywide area, (1) unit in the City of Hidalgo, (1) unit in the City of Sullivan City and (1) unit in the City of Progreso in the total contract amount of $276,600.00 to R G Enterprises, LLC, dba G & G Contractors

STAFF COMMENTS & RECOMMENDATION:
The applicants were approved to receive assistance under the Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program by the County Commissioners’ Court on November 21, 2017 & May 8 & 15, 2018.  Bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County Purchasing Department on Wednesday, August 29, 2018.

Treasure Build, LLC was the lowest bidder for one of the Countywide area projects.  However, due to the contractor submitting an incorrect bid amount, the Urban County Program is recommending this project be awarded to next lowest bidder, R G Enterprises, LLC.
