The Urban County Program is requesting an increase in car allowance for Slot no. 0004 from $3,600.00 to $5,400.00 and to add supplemental allowance of $1,800.00 effective the next full pay period. Funding for this increase will be out of the 2015 GLO Flood Grant consisting of 13 subdivisions within the South East area of Precinct 4 (north of Alamo and Southeast Edinburg rural area) resulting in additional site visits, inspections, meetings and reviews aside from the employees current responsibilities. Construction improvements will consist of re-grading road side ditches, constructing new outfalls (closed-conduit), reconstructing streets, culverts. and other related storm collection system components. These projects will provide much needed storm runoff relief by providing facilities to remove flooding within the new collection system. These systems will connect to the County's drainage facilities. Once installed, these improvements will ensure that future flooding events will not result in similar conditions.
