Subject to Compliance with HB 1295, requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Filegonia Site Contractors, LLC, for the base bid and alternate no 2 in the amount of $277,456.05. UCP Fiscal Years’ 28, 29 & 30 (2015, 2016 & 2017) San Juan - Street Improvement funds will be utilized.

BACKGROUND

The Urban County Program has requested and received bids for the City of San Juan– Street Improvements. Perez Consulting Engineers prepared the specification packages and bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County – Purchasing Department on November 28, 2018.   After review the project engineer recommended Filegonia Site Contractors, LLC as the lowest of ten (10) qualified bidders. (See attached recommendation letter, bid tabulation sheet, contract, certificate of liability insurance and HB 1295 form).
